WellVersed turns books that people upload into their own study material. We respect the rights of authors and publishers and expect our users to do the same: upload only material you have the right to use.
Reporting Infringement
If you believe material in WellVersed infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to act for, send a notice to contact.wellversed@gmail.com with the subject "Copyright notice". Please include:
- the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- where the material is, precisely enough for us to find it (for example, a shared link or the account and book title);
- your name, postal address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
What Happens Next
We review every complete notice promptly. When it is valid, we remove or disable access to the material and let the user who uploaded it know, with a copy of the notice.
Counter-Notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with: the material that was removed and where it was; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address; and your physical or electronic signature. Unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have started court proceedings, we may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days.
Repeat Infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe. See section 7 of our Terms of Service.
